Vision The Kid - Heart Rhythm

Back in January, I posted a free download of Minnesota rapper Vision The Kid’s “The Incredible Introduction Of…” mixtape on my blog. It was actually Vision himself who sent the mixtape to me, and after giving it a good listen I was extremely impressed and felt compelled to show my support.

Although I thought the record was indeed “incredible” as the title implied, his mixtape has been sitting dormant on my disk drive for a few months now, and it wasn’t until yesterday that I re-discovered how talented this guy really is. It was this particular song, which I came across while shuffling through my iTunes library, that re-kindled my bewilderment at his effortless delivery and lyrical dexterity.

If you haven’t checked this guy out already, you really should! He’s an AMAZING artist on so many different levels and with each song I hear my respect for him grows. Not only is he a great artist, but he’s a great advocate too! Just this past Saturday, he had a benefit concert to raise awareness about cystic fibrosis. Talk about putting your talent to good use!
